It's Date Night and the feeling is right in this perfect polka dot dress from SheIn! When planning an outfit for going out in San Francisco there are a couple key points to keep in mind. First and foremost, SF can go from an amazing sunny day to a "why are we in Alaska" level of cold. So needless to say this dress with sleeves will be your best friend! Secondly, you always need a jacket! Even if you don't think you need one, bring one. That's why I paired this fun dress with a thick leather jacket, not only to even out the feminine polka dots but also keep me warm! Let me start off by saying, I love that this is a full look with almost nothing added. This dress does all the work for you when trying to figure out what to wear. I've never been a huge fan of polka dots (Sorry, Minnie Mouse) but this dress stood out to me on so many levels. First of all, the polka dots are approachable and not in your face. This is due to not only the perfect navy color of the dots, but also that the dots aren't perfect, they have a sort of un-even rustic feel which lends to the soft and sweet silhouette of the dress. Secondly, this dress is a perfect length for SF! The Hi-low shows just enough thigh to be sexy but long enough in the back to be comfortable. And let's not forget the OTS...As you all know by now, I'm a firm believer of a good off-the-shoulder piece and this just adds to my excitement! "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco." -Mark Twain Happy Monday! Let's start this week of with a bang in this adorable ruffle top by Romwe! You know how much I love an off-the-shoulder, so in the spirit of the chilly San Francisco summer, say hello to the cold shoulder (pun intended!). One of the things that I love about this top is that it's a little longer than a crop, but short enough to show off your adorable belt. What better way to accessorize your outfit?! Not only does this top reflect the spirit of 2016 (can you say trendy??) because it's one of Pantone's colors of the year (Serenity Blue), but it's also a fantastic piece to carry you from summer to fall. Throw on some tall brown boots and you're set! Oh! And I forgot to tell you the best part. It's on sale at Romwe for only $12.99!!! (brb while I buy one for everyday of the week...that's not weird, right??) Mind you, this isn't the only deal you'll find on Romwe, there are 100's of other adorable pieces as well. So get your butt over there to find some amazing steals! I know that as much as you all LOVE my blog posts, head over to Romwe and get your own for some ruffle fun!! Enjoy! I'm back again with a re-cap of our amazing trip to the Hamptons! Thanks to the amazing Brittany Byrd (who planned the night) we all boarded an adorable catamaran in Montauk for our sunset cruise! Bundled up with our lobster rolls, white jeans, and rose we were ready to set sail. As you can tell I was pretty pumped about my "nantucket red" Montauk hat that I bought a mere 30 minutes previous lol I must say, spending time with family is one of the best ways to vacation and I can't thank the Byrd and Saeta family enough for such an incredibly trip! So next year.....? Sunsets, lobster rolls, and rose, what a wonderful way to end day!
