Half way through the week? Hell no! We all know Wednesdays are rough! Get your girls together because it's time for happy hour! This top from Romwe is the perfect tank to spice up your night out! Suede?! Yes Please! Suede boots, handbags, and now faux-suede tops are a perfect fall staple. The midnight-blue suede adds an entirely new level of depth to this top, which is a total game changer. I grew up thinking black and blue was a huge no-no, but I realized that combining a classic navy with your standard black creates a fantastic complimentary pair! What's more is that it's an even better combo for the upcoming fall season! Not only are the suede tank and choker on trend, but the incredible crisscross detail on the back is the ideal statement of fun! The handkerchief hemline and the drape of the fabric makes for a great silhouette.
It's officially fall in SF and I'm ecstatic! Aside from Christmas, fall is my favorite time of year! Crisp air, tall boots, pumpkin spiced EVERYTHING and most of all, comfy sweaters are the best reasons to love this season! So it comes to no surprise that my first post of fall is about a cozy sweater from Romwe! I partnered with Romwe to bring you the perfect outfit to carry you from summer into fall. Forget about "no white after Labor Day" and keep those white jeans out all year! There is nothing I love more than a winter white outfit, so why not a fall white one?! By pairing white jeans with this light grey sweater you're able to create a look thats half summer bright and half cozy autumn. The black accents are a nice touch to add depth to this already light look! Best of all? This sweater is on sale for only $19.99! Warm yourself up with those incredible prices!! With the fall chill finally here, head over to Romwe and warm yourself with their soft sweaters and amazing prices! Why not treat yourself with a quick DIY face mask! I love a DIY face mask because you already have the ingredients in your fridge! So, today I've partnered with Maris Magazine to bring you a super easy egg white-based mask! Egg whites are amazing for your skin because of its many nutrients! Potassium, magnesium, and protein in egg whites help to hydrate, repair and promote wrinkle free skin. With the addition of orange juice and turmeric powder this face mask gets even better! Turmeric powder has skin lightening properties that evens out skin tones, erasing discoloration and acne scars. The orange juice helps to tone as well! What's more is the directions are as simple as the ingredients! Whisk together the orange juice and egg whites till frothy. Blend in the turmeric and apply to clean skin. I recommend laying down to help keep the mask from dripping on the floor. After 15 minutes, cleanse with warm water and embrace your beautiful bright skin! Enjoy! Love, Char When in Rome (or in this case LA) dress the part! I may have changed that a bit, but you get the gist! About two months ago I signed with LA Models, so these past two weeks I have been down in Los Angeles for castings and jobs! First thing I did in LA was buying this hat from Goorin Bros! I'm not usually a hat person but with this heat and in awe of the style here in LA I gave in and bought this beaut! What I love about this hat is that it's black and made of straw! The perfect combination to take you from spring to fall or day to night! With the cool LA style in mind I grabbed my asos choker and my new lightweight black blouse from Urban outfitters. One aspect I over looked in preparation for my trip was the heat! Holy cow it's hot in LA, AND I just happened to arrive during a heat wave! So light layers was a must for the past two weeks! I can't rave enough about these suede Toms booties! I'm sure you've heard all about these babies but lemme tell you why I live (yes live) in mine! First off, I would like to mention that I am 5'11 naturally, so you won't find me in heels on the reg. BUT, these 2 3/4 inch booties are the perfect height for everything from running errands to grabbing drinks! Secondly they are the comfiest heels I have ever found! No joke, I've worn these all day and have never had a problem! Mind you, I wear heels for modeling all the time, so I know bad heels when I wear them lol! Last, but not least, my lovely brown leather jacket! I've always loved black, its a clean look and never shows stains/dirt (I'm really clumsy)But I'm slowly moving on to softer shades for fall! Instead of black I'm leaning towards shades of brown, grey, and navy. And this jacket is a steal! I was browsing around Nordstrom Rack looking for absolutely nothing when I hit the jackpot with this number! A Michael Kors genuine leather motto jacket. Did I mention it comes in three other colors?! All for under $200! Mind blown! Photos by Leslie Saeta
