After some much needed down time in SF I'm finally all caught up from our trip to New York and the haze of traveling the past couple of months. So, needless to say the next couple of posts are going to be dedicated to the amazing memories from our trip!
As you all know, I LOVE shopping and I take every trip as an opportunity to find new pieces to add to my ever growing closet (Sorry Andrew)!
As expected, shopping in the Hamptons was as amazing as I thought it would be. Adorable little shops all lined up and down the streets.
My first stop, JCrew!
My favorite find at JCrew? This amazing blue and white striped, criss-cross dress! It caught my eye as I was wandering the store and I just couldn't leave it behind.
Hitting right at the knee, it's the perfect light summer dress for day or night.
Every outfit needs a key accessory and these tassel earrings are becoming my everything! Not only does white go with almost anything, but the long tassels add an elegance to this everyday addition. Better yet, they are only $33 and come in a plethora of colors!
(I bought them in turquoise too!)
And the BEST part about this dress?! The criss-cross straps unbutton so you can wear it as a halter or even straight down like a tank. I mean...who doesn't love options?!
Happy Friday! With this amazing weather in San Francisco I thought it was about time to pull out my summer whites. Every day I'm becoming more of a fan of the monochromatic look! What's more is that I'm diving head first into a lighter wardrobe.
Like I've mentioned before, I used to lean towards black and mostly dark colors. When I was younger my mother always steered me away from white because it's so easy to get dirty or spill on (I was a clumsy child lol) But now I'm embracing the refreshing look of white!
It doesn't hurt that it makes me look a smidge more tan! (ALWAYS a plus)
A few great aspects of the monochromatic look are the wonderful textures you can mix together! Here I paired silk and denim with an eyelet mini skirt and suede heels. Fun, flirty, and refreshing for a bright summer day!

After many weekends out of town, Andrew (my boyfriend) and I were finally home in San Francisco to spend some quality time in my favorite city! Every Sunday from 11am-4pm, Off the Grid sets up food trucks and booths around a giant lawn in the Presidio, so heading to the Presidio was a no-brainer!
The perfect picnic calls for the perfect tote and I have found mine. I have been in love with Goyard's totes for years and I finally have one in my hands! I recently bought the Godard St. Louis GM tote, which is th bigger of the two styles. Throw in a light jacket, scarf, camera, and of course a bottle of wine and we were set to go!
Speaking of wine, you HAVE to try Stag's Leap Vignette. I'm normally not a white wine kinda girl but this is one cool white I can definitely appreciate!
This Gap jacket is a great layering piece for the summer! Light enough to wear on hot days but just enough coverage to protect you from that sneaky SF chill. I passed this multiple times at the store and always thought it was cute but never took the plunge because I've never taken myself as an army jacket kinda girl, but I'm so incredibly glad I did because its my new favorite piece! Let's not forget to mention the ties that cinch at your waist!
Oh, did I mention it's on SALE! Yeah, you're welcome :)
Adding to the list of my new favorite pieces...is this tank! I've come across other bloggers I love wearing this tank, so I thought I would give it a try and, HOLY MOLY, I now get the fuss. Its perfect! The tank is light, a great neutral piece for every outfit, and looks great regardless of what direction you are wearing it. Yes, I wear it reversed sometimes and, no, I'm not crazy! The double back strap is an adorable twist on the everyday tank.
Oh and it comes in EVERY COLOR! I bough it in this cream, baby blue, and black, but trust me, there are more colors in my Nordstroms cart as I'm typing this!
There are many reasons to have a picnic - fresh air, great food (and wine!), getting a healthy dose of vitamin D, but most of all its being able to spend time with the people you love and care about!
