SURPRISE!! I'm on the Summer 2016 cover of My Wedding magazine!!
This was hands down one of my favorite cover shoots to date! The gorgeous gown, stunning set, and outstanding crew made it a day to remember.
I mean who doesn't love wearing a wedding dress and playing bride?!
The breathtaking floral arrangements and wedding set created by Precious & Blooming and Charmed Events Group took me to another world!
It's days like this one that I absolutely love my job. I get to play dress up in a wedding gown, have my hair and makeup professionally done, and I get to hangout with a great model groom and bridesmaid! The best part about these shoots are the relationships you make. Before the shoot, I had never met the models or crew, but by the end of the day we were laughing and joking like it was a reunion of sorts!
Round of applause is due to the following:
Photography: Megan Clouse
Creative Direction, design, and styling: Charmed Events Group
Floral Design: Precious & Blooming
Hair and Makeup: Aimee Makeup Artistry
Brides Gown: Jenny Yoo
Groom's Tuxedo: Menguin
Bridesmaid's Dress: Joanna August
Models: Scout Model and Talent Agency
And of course My Wedding magazine!
Thank you everyone for such an incredible day!

I'm not one to follow trends, BUT I can't handle how chic off the shoulder tops are!
I AM OBSESSED! (Seriously, I need/will do a future post on just "OTS" outfits!)
And don't get me started on bandanas!
Around the neck, tied on a handbag, or worn as a headband - I think they are absolutely adorable!
Funny thought.... Whenever I wear this top/bandana combo I feel a little railroad-ish due to the blue stripes but whatevs, I ADORE it!
With these two amazing trends, why wouldn't you mix them?!!
Ever since I was a little girl I loved pink and (somewhat) hated blue, but as I've gotten older I have found a soft spot for blue and all of it's wonderful shades!
Lately I've really been into mixing shades in my outfits more than mixing colors. It's a fun twist on the traditional "matchy-matchy".
I've always been a big fan of pastels because they feel fresh, bright, and of course, feminine! It also helps that Pantone's colors for this year are rose quartz and serenity to help us Spring into 2016! (pun intended, sorry, lol)
Here is one of my go-to outfits for those warm Spring days!
This Kate Spade tote has become a beloved piece in my collection due to its durability and cuteness! It's great for the beach, farmers market or running errands because it is so easy to clean. Just wipe it down and you're back on the go! My favorite aspect of the tote would have to be the scallops at the top which lend to its feminine structure.
This Gap blouse is a perfect light piece for Spring. When I'm picking out outfits for Spring I tend to lean towards cotton because it's a breathable fabric for those warm/hot days! Add some eyelet and you're ready for any lunch date, garden party or you're just looking fab running errands!
A couple photos from a great shoot I did with John Thatcher, styled by Toshiko of It's Not Her, It's Me.
Its always fun working with hilarious and sweet personalities and thats exactly what I got working with these two! It felt like we had worked together multiple times before. If you get the chance, definitely jump over to their sites to check out their current work!
